Infreym is the creation of Matt and Riccardo, two freelance videographers and photographers who, after years of working independently, teamed up in the summer of 2024 in an effort to build something greater than the sum of its parts.
Based in Sheffield, Infreym was founded with a clear vision: to push the boundaries of independent production, give a platform to local talent, and help businesses across the UK tell their stories with impact. Driven by a love of filmmaking, a commitment to quality, and a collaborative spirit, the team is growing fast… and always chasing the next great project.

WHO ARE INFREYM?
MATTHEW BARSBY
Matthew grew up with a camera in hand, developing a love for photography from an early age. One of his earliest memories is spending time in his dad’s home darkroom - a formative experience that sparked a lifelong creative journey.
After studying Multimedia Technology at university, he spent time living in London and Tokyo, refining his photography and video production skills. Now based in Sheffield, Matthew has built a successful freelance career, drawing on his diverse experience and creative eye.
With a background in music, having played drums in several bands, he remains closely connected to the industry, bringing an insider’s perspective to many of his creative projects.
RICCARDO CENCI
Originally from Italy, Riccardo first got into videography while living with a filmmaker friend. What started as helping his own band with visuals quickly grew into a passion for creative storytelling and cinematic content.
Now based in Sheffield, he works across music and commercial projects, touring internationally with bands and producing music videos, as well as creating dynamic content for brands and businesses. As a self-taught filmmaker and active musician, he brings a sharp creative eye and a deep understanding of what both artists and clients need.
Known for his energy, originality, and go-above-and-beyond approach, Riccardo thrives on turning ideas into bold, engaging visuals.
